Caribes de Anzoátegui is the current runner-up in Venezuelan ball. That is why they are working to put together a good poster and repeat their stay in the final. One of those management moves was the incorporation of two foreign arms to strengthen the pitching body.

Enmanuel Ramírez will be in manager Jackson Melián's starting rotation, while Henry Martínez will join the Indian bullpen.

The first of them will land on the Venezuelan ball from the Tigres del Licey, a team that kept him as a starter and where he left a 3.60 ERA in just two games in the 2019-2020 campaign.

Martinez is called to solve the final innings. It comes from the Lions of the Chosen One. With this team, he set numbers of 1-1 the previous season and with an ERA of 3.95 in a total of 13.2 innings.

It is important to note that Caribes de Anzoátegui was not sure where to start the 2020-2021 campaign. But, it was finally announced that the Garden City will host the championship runner-up.

Before confirmation, Mayckol Guaipe, Jairo Díaz, Yeizo Campos, Luis Sardiñas, Jean Carlos Toledo and Niuman Romero were training at Alfonso “Chico” Carrasquel.

Heading to the Garden City

The boys from Jackson Melián left yesterday afternoon for Maracay to start playing at the “José Pérez Colmenares”, the Tigres de Aragua stadium.

The manager of the tribe sent a message to the public through the official team account: “Greetings to all the fans of the Caribes, we are leaving for Maracay and we are very encouraged and very happy for what will be the start of the season, and thus to be able to look for a new championship ”.

Niuman Romero, captain of the indigenous people, also asked his followers for the maximum support in all avenues and thanked the presence of each one of the people during the upcoming Creole ball contest.

Anzoátegui's ninth will be measured against Tigres on the opening day of the 2020-21 campaign.
