Everything is ready for the super featherweight world champion of the World Boxing Association, the Venezuelan Roger Gutiérrez, to make the second defense of his belt, next February 26 in Las Vegas, against the American Chris Colbert.
This was announced by the president of Moron Boxing, Rafael Morón, who specified that the second defense of the Zulian champion will take place at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.
"We already have a date and place," Morón said. “Our camp here in California is now a month old, and we are gearing up for this final phase of preparation. Roger is very focused to get out of his second defense”.

Gutierrez moved to Los Angeles in mid-December to continue his preparation for this fight. His last challenge was on August 14 in Frisco, Texas, when he defeated Nicaraguan René Alvarado for the second time in a row in the closing of the trilogy between the two boxers. It was precisely Alvarado from whom "The Kid" snatched the title on January 2, 2021, in Dallas. Both fights were resolved in favor of the Zulian by unanimous decision.
Gutiérrez arrives at this event with a record of 26 wins, 20 of them by way of knockout, three losses and one draw. “Prime Time” Colbert, meanwhile, is undefeated in 16 starts.
