Leo González: "It is necessary to specify"

The coach from Ciego de Avila spoke about the elimination in the Copa Suramericana

After the elimination of Caracas from the Copa Suramericana, the Technician Leo González spoke in the mixed zone about his vision of the match.

He revealed that the big problem is when it comes to specifying the plays: “We need to specify more opportunities. Unfortunately they hit us once and it's a goal, they hit us twice and it's a goal and three times and it's a goal. We are not having that touch of luck”, declared the coach.

Analysis of Leo González

“It was a balanced match, where they took advantage of their chance to score”, lamented the coach who in turn highlighted “we had more chances to score; that of Ortega and that of Santiago Rodríguez, but they could not specify them”.

Caracas' plan, on a nightmare night, to stop an inspired team from Buenos Aires did not work, González outlined: “They (Academia) are a team that has fast transitions, which we work on during the week, but unfortunately they score a goal for us that way".

The Avilanian boss highlighted this fall as a "hard blow."

“You have to keep working. We were excited to advance to the group stage. We played a correct game, but only one could go through”, lamented the man from Trujillo.

Finally, the DT congratulated his rival and wished him success in the South American Cup: "They made merits to be in the group stage," he concluded.
