Vinotinto Sub20 classified to the hexagonal of the South American

Brayan Alcocer repeated the dose of the previous victory and scored the winning goal from 12 steps

After two resounding setbacks, the Vinotinto Sub20 straightened the course and defeated Chile 1-0 this Saturday to qualify for the final hexagonal of the South American category that takes place in Colombia.

Brayan Alcocer repeated the dose of the previous victory and scored the only goal of the match from 12 steps in the 48th minute.

The penalty came after Chile defender Yahir Salazar dived to head a cross, but ended up touching the ball with his hand.

La Vinotinto, who came from behind in Group B, will now look for one of the four spots for the 2023 World Cup in Indonesia along with:

  • Brazil
  • Paraguay
  • Colombia
  • Uruguay
