The captain of Vinotinto Tomás Rincón assured that this tour of the Middle East in which they left behind a victory and a draw was very valuable for the team.
Rincón offered his impressions of the two dates they faced with Fernando "Bocha" Martínez as coach since the departure of Pékerman.
"It has been a quite important tour, we worked very well with a good climate within the team," he said.
“We had a victory with a World Cup team and this game in the end got a little out of hand.
"These are details that without a doubt we have to correct because in the qualifiers they can cost us dearly," he declared.
Regarding the Vinotinto captain, who plays in Italian soccer with UC Sampdoria, he indicated that: "The important thing is the work that each one of us does within our teams, and the self-demand that we have to be able to arrive safely when we are called up to the national team."
In turn, he made reference to the importance of having a large squad to cover possible casualties during the South American qualifiers.

"Here everyone has to feel important, the opportunity always arrives, the qualifiers are long and complicated, there are moments when the players have ups and downs and it is important to have a wide universe of players within the national team," said Rincón.
"El General" indicated that he finds the team well, within a good work environment.
"The team is fine, with a lot of empathy with an optimal work climate, but without a doubt there are still things that have to be corrected."
To end his statements from the mixed zone, Rincón thanked the support that the Venezuelan team always receives.
"To all our people who always support us, tell them that we are going to give ourselves to the maximum," he concluded.
I think that Venezuela already has to remove Rincón from the starting 11, give way to the new generation
