The Spanish defender Sergio Ramos does not appear in the call announced this Wednesday by Paris Saint-Germain for the first game of the team outside their facilities, a friendly in Orleans against German Augsburg.
The Argentine coach, Mauricio Pochettino, has not included him in the list for this third preseason match of the club, after two behind closed doors played in the club's sports city, on July 14 against Le Mans (4-0) and three days later against Chambly (2-2), both considered as training sessions.
Against Augsburg it is already considered a more serious clash, but the coach will not be able to count on two of his signings of the year, the Dutch Wijnaldum and the Italian goal Donnarumma, who have not yet joined the team after the European Championship.
Ramos, 35, has already trained with his teammates, but the coach has considered that his physical level is still not enough to include him on the list, so he has applied prudence in the face of the numerous injuries he suffered last season.
Neither do the Spanish Ander Herrera nor the Moroccan Achraf Hakimi, who has just returned to training after having tested positive for covid, do not travel to Orleans.
The squad is essentially made up of youngsters from the quarry, along with first-team names such as Mauro Icardi, Keylor Navas, Julian Draxler, Idrissa Gueye and Thilo Kehrer.
