PSG thrashed 4-0 in their visit to Nimes (13th) and added their fifth consecutive victory to take the first position in the Ligue 1 standings, tied in 15 points with Rennes, who drew 1-1 at home bottom Dijon.

Kylian Mbappé with a double (32 and 83), the Italian Alessandro Florenzi (78) and the Spanish Pablo Sarabia (88) were the authors of the goals against a Nimes who played with 10 from the 12th minute due to the expulsion of his central Loïck Landre.

Among those sanctioned (Di María, Kurzawa and Marquinhos), the international break and the preparations for the Champions League, the German coach Thomas Tuchel drew up an initial eleven in which he mixed usual starters (Keylor Navas, Mbappé, Gueye or Kimpembe) with some not so untouchable (Paredes or Sarabia) and their latest signings (Florenzi, Moise Kean and Rafinha).

There were some doubts about this line-up, but everything went smoothly and PSG won comfortably.

The only negative note for Tuchel was the injury of Argentine Leandro Paredes, who left the field in the first minutes of the game with muscle problems, being replaced by Herrera.

Mbappé did not seem to take a toll on international matches.

«I spoke with him yesterday and he told me that he was fine and that he wanted to play. He is a boy who always makes a difference. Today he has done it again ”, declared Tuchel about the French striker.

"The games accumulate, but I always want (to play)", declared Mbappé on the Telefoot channel.

One of the players reserved by the German coach was Neymar, who had been concentrating with Brazil for the World Cup qualifiers.
