The Bolivian coach, César Alejandro Farías, pointed out that his team retains the confidence in reversing in this Copa América 2021 the result of this Monday in its debut, in which it lost to Paraguay 1-3, while pointing out as a key of the defeat the expulsion of Jaume Cuellar.
"We have the illusion that we are going to reverse this in this Cup. There are things to rescue," said the coach at the press conference after the match, the result of which put Paraguay at the head of Group A of the Copa América 2021.
"Not at all, I don't think so," was the brief response of the coach asked if the result represents a step back for Green in the Copa América 2021.
In that sense, he indicated as a determining factor to play with 10 the entire second half after the double warning to Cuellar.
"The second half would not have been the same if he had been with eleven," said Farías.
Among the highlights of his men, Farías cited the "mettle, order and dedication", and the "gallantry of his players, some of whom until recently were juniors.
"We are facing a team of a category that everyone knows," he said, to express his "respect and admiration" for Albirroja.
